Site of Action: Inhibitors of protoporphyrinogen oxidase (Protox)

Symptoms

Following PRE emergent application:

  • Seedlings emerge
  • Once exposed to the light they turn necrotic and quickly die

Following foliar contact from POST emergent application:

  • Rapid desiccation and necrosis of exposed plant tissues

Uptake and Translocation

  • Absorbed through the roots and foliage

Persistence

  • Relatively persistent
  • Half-life in field: 110- 280 days
