Minister's Order: Vineyard Improvement Initiative [0001/2020]

Whereas the Vineyard Improvement Initiative was established as a sub-component of the Marketing and Vineyard Improvement Program component under The Ontario Wine Fund on April 1, 2015 by Order-In-Council 511/2017 for the encouragement of agriculture and food within Ontario;

And whereas sections 49 and 54 of the Legislation Act, 2006 have the effect of providing the Minister with the power to amend, revoke or replace from time to time an order establishing a program under section 6.2 of the Act;

And whereas I, the Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, wish to revoke the Vineyard Improvement Initiative sub-component of the Marketing and Vineyard Improvement Program component under The Ontario Wine Fund and continue it as an Initiative under the Canadian Agricultural Partnership Strategic Initiatives Theme Program entitled the Marketing and Vineyard Improvement Programming to Support Grape Growers;

Now therefore, pursuant to my authority under section 6.2 of the Act and sections 49 and 54 of the Legislation Act, 2006, I hereby order the following:

The Vineyard Improvement Initiative sub-component of the Marketing and Vineyard Improvement Program component under The Ontario Wine Fund is revoked when this Minister's Order takes effect.

This Minister's Order comes into effect as of the date of my signature below.
