Ontario is helping a local beverage bottling operation in Peterborough County expand to meet growing demand.

With support from Ontario's Rural Economic Development Program, Canadian Distribution Channel Inc. (CDC) is installing a new processing and filling line to respond to growing demand for its unique beverages. This investment will help the company:

  • diversify its product line
  • attract new international customers
  • create up to eight new jobs and protect eight existing positions

A strong agri-food industry is part of McGuinty government's plan to create jobs and opportunities that will boost the province's economy.
