Introduction

The goal of the Advanced Drainage Course is to provide learners with the knowledge and skills required to assess, plan and design agricultural sub-surface drainage works. As per Regulation 18 of the Tile Drainage Installation Act, the advanced course includes instruction and practice in the design of drainage works. Learners will gain a basic understanding of tile drainage design, so that installation will comply with the "Drainage Guide for Ontario".

This course is one of the mandatory requirements for an upgrade from a Class "B" to a Class "A" machine operator license.

OMAFRA Primary Drainage Course.
