Nutrient Application Technician Test

Nutrient Application Technician Licence TestThis test qualifies successful candidates for the Nutrient Application Technician Licence. The test includes multiple choice and true/false questions pertaining to material covered in the Nutrient Application Technician course and workbook. The Nutrient Application Technician Licence is required by individuals applying nutrients to land for a phased-in operation that requires a nutrient management plan. The test is open to individuals who have completed the Nutrient Application Technician Licence course in their workplace or through an OMAFRA delivered session. A fee of $150 will be charged for writing the test. To RegisterTo register for the test, please call the Nutrient Management Information Line at 1-866-242-4460. Reference and resource materials will be provided at the test. Copies of the Nutrient Application Technician Workbook will be provided. Test participants should bring pencils to the test. A passing grade on the test is 70%. If a test participant does not achieve a passing grade, they will not be granted a licence. Should a Nutrient Application Technician candidate write the test three times without achieving a passing grade, the candidate will have to re-take the course.
